A Change to Regulated Use Closure on August 1, 2015.

Below-condenced list of regulations
*No smoking
*No open flame
*No Burning
*No campfires without
24 hour host at campground
*No chainsaw use in Level 3 and 4
*No mowing of dry grass after 10am
*No cutting or grinding of metal
*No Fireworks

Tracer Amunition, Exploding Targets and Sky Lanterns are illegal during a closed fire season, by Oregon Law.

 If you work / employed as a forest worker in the forest, logging, running equipment, building road, cutting with powersaws, spraying, any job that requires a Notification of Operation - your Closure information is on the right.



If you are a rural residence, outside of any city limits, cutting firewood, mowing, trimming, weedeating, camping, hiking, riding motor bikes / ATV's, hunting, sightseeing, mushroom picker, evergreen bough collector - your Closure Information is on the left.




Effective at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 29, 2015 all county, state,

private, and BLM lands within the Coos Forest Protective Association in

Zones CS-1, CS-2, CS-4, CS-5, SK-1, and SK-2 will change to a
Level 2 Closure
.



The Regulated Use Closure (Public Use Closure) remains in effect for the entire

Coos Forest Protective Association district as of Saturday, August 29, 2015.
